Matt Leventhall is a producer and lighting designer with more than 100 shows under his belt and numerous awards. Matt’s body of work is diverse in its nature and innovative in its achievements.
Recent projects at the Edinburgh Fringe have included Cross Stitching and Crossing the Rubicon (C Soco), Warehouse 364 (C Cubed) and The Bear Who Paints (Pleasance Baby Grand). Matt has had 7 designs at the NSDF finals (Talking to Terrorists, Proof, Disco Pigs, Cast Aside, Bluebird, After the End, Orphans) where he won a Stage Electrics Design Award. Most recently, his work has been seen at the Nottingham Sandfield Theatre (Into The Woods, The Pajama Game, The Dreaming) and at the Nottingham New Theatre (Rhinoceros, The Small Things, The Real Inspector Hound, The Pillowman, The Fall of The House of Usher, Romeo and Juliet, The Lonesome West) where he currently holds the award for Best Lighting design for the third consecutive year. Matt was made an Honorary Fellow of the New Theatre in recognition of his achievements.
